A project is one product you want creators to talk about. Setting one up takes about two minutes, and Talkscope runs the first search on its own as soon as you save.

1. Create your account

Go to the sign-up page and enter your name, email address and a password, then click Create account. Talkscope sends a verification link to your address straight away.

2. Verify your email

Open the email and click the link. It works once and expires in a day. If it has not arrived, click Send it again on the verification page. Searches and drafts wait until your address is verified.

3. Tell Talkscope what you make

Paste your website's address. You have two ways in:

  • Read the site: Talkscope reads up to six pages, your homepage included, following the links it finds there.

  • These pages only: give it the exact pages to read, up to three in all.

The draft is capped at $0.30 and takes about half a minute. Nothing is saved until you confirm. No website yet, or a site that says little? Click Describe it yourself and answer a few short questions instead.

4. Keep what is true

Talkscope shows every claim it drafted as a card. Quoted means the sentence is on your page; Inferred means Talkscope read between the lines. Keep, edit or clear each one, give the project a name, then click Save and open Talkscope.

Talkscope needs three things before it can search: What it does, at least one problem it solves, and Who it is for. The rest makes searches sharper, and you can add it later.

5. The first look

When the sheet is saved, Talkscope starts a first look on its own: one search of the web and podcasts, under $2. Its creators land on Home. From then on you run searches yourself, from Home or as daily searches.

Want another product? Open the project card at the top of the sidebar and choose New project. Each project keeps its own creators and searches.
